Eligibility

• Nominees for the award must be born on or after January 1, 1982.
• Nominees for the award must be the first author (lead author) of the accepted abstract.

Application Process

• Check the “Young Investigator Award” box on the abstract submission page (Step 3).
• Awardees will be required to submit a valid document for proof of age.

Prize : USD 200

Number of winners

• 50 awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Nominees for the award must be the presenting author of an accepted e-Poster abstract.

※ Note : There is no application process. All accepted e-Poster abstracts will be taken into consideration for this award.

The KGFID Award (Korean Gastroenterology Fund for Integrated Development) sponsored by Korea Research Foundation of Internal Medicine will be recognized along with the Best Abstracts and Best Presentations among the accepted abstracts for oral presentation.

Number of winners

• 20 awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Nominees for the award must be the presenting author of an accepted abstract for oral presentation.

※ Note : There is no application process. All accepted oral abstracts will be taken into consideration for this award.

KDDW Contribution Award

Prize : USD 200

Number of winners

• 10 awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Nominees for corresponding authors who have submitted and accepted many abstracts.
• Nominees for corresponding authors must complete their registration.

Application Process

• Send the accepted abstract list to the KDDW 2022 secretariat.

Grant : Free Registration

Number of winners

• 25 accepted abstracts will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Up to 2 recipients can both receive grants of Free Registration each per selected abstract. (Either one presenter and one co-author or two co-authors)
• Co-authors of selected abstracts are eligible for the grant.

• Check the “Academic Grant” box on the abstract submission page (Step 3).

Grant : Free Registration

Number of winners

• First-come-first-served 50 recipients.

Eligibility

※ To be eligible for the grant, applicants need to meet both criteria below:

• Applicants must be from a country listed on the “DAC List of Aid Recipients” classified by the OECD.
• Abstract submission not required to be eligible.
• If you submitted an abstract but not as the presenting author, you are eligible for the grant.
  (Presenting authors may not apply.)
• Only Trainee/Resident/Nurse/Technician/Student/Others category with Virtual Attendance can apply

Application Process

• Check the “e-Travel Grant” box, and please select “Bank Transfer” as the payment method in the online registration system.
• Secretariat will review later and inform the applicants of free registration.

※ Note : Recipients of other awards or academic grants cannot apply for an e-Travel Grant (duplicate awards are not allowed).
